Hi, does anyone had or have experience in using the rear camera as an internal camera instead?
If there is someone here that does, can you tell me please if it mounts properly with a good recording angle and the cable connects easily? and can you see all the interior of the car on the recordings?

Thanks in advance

The main issue is that there is no IR illumination, so it is not much good at night unless there are bright street lamps.

The A229 and A139 have a much better rear camera design since they are 360 degree adjustable, so easy to mount, the A139 is even available with IR illumination on the second camera.

With the A129 Plus, you may need to add a wedge/45 degrees block between the camera mount and mounting surface, but there is no real difficulty in doing it. To get all the interior, you will need to mount it on either front or rear windscreen, and it will still miss a bit at the sides since it isn't wide enough angle, but it will probably be enough, it also needs to be mounted quite high to see over the headrests. This will make it harder to mount because of the limited adjustment angle, A229 design is preferable.

Ok thank you very much for the reply. I'll check about the A229 model instead
