Friend of mine who was given a Vantrue Dashcam as part of Vantrue's Earlier Testing, shared his Low Bitrate (15FPS) Parking Mode Vantrue N4 Pro S with me via Email. I have blurred out the plates for privacy. A car backing up PLOWED into his vehicle causing Side Damage. This is the value of parking Mode. Thanks to this video, he can file an insurance claim as the full license plate was captured in the unedited video.

Did the driver of the other car get out, take a look, then drive away?

This also shows the value of a cabin camera for capturing what happens to the side of a car. I expect the front and rear videos didn't capture any usable evidence?

From what I was told: Driver did stop and track down my friend. Police were called and report was made. However, I believe insurance claim is still up in the air and the video will help with that process. He was iffy on the woman's insurance prospects, and will have the video on hand now if using his own insurance becomes necessary.

Front and Rear camera caught the car "Jolting" but couldn't see any of the accident take place. Only cabin camera was useful!
