Vantrue R2 Issue

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum I didn't see one for Vantrue.

So I just got this and the picture is great. I'm having an issue though where it keeps recording little 2 second clips and only occasionally records at 5 mins like I set it to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
