24 / 25 FPS would be interesting to experiment with. Where I live, many of the traffic lights and a lot of the cars have that flickering. It is annoying to watch on the video but does not distract our judicial system from using a video for a trial. That FPS is a bit slow for highway or fast moving traffic would it could work great for UBER and taxi drivers in metropolitan areas. Not sure though that VIOFO would go to the effort of fine tuning the software for 24 / 25 FPS. Would be interesting though.

30 FPS or 60 FPS provides less strobing and choppiness in 4K, but you can still do 4K in 24 FPS for average motion.

4K Ultra HD resolution is 3840x2160 and FPS over 24FPS. 2880x2160 found on some dashcams is not 4K, is just 2160p and you will see that in reality is just 2K! The camera is recording the video at 2880x2160 but in the header of the videos is written an information...

Well, you are wrong in your assessment of the issue.

With what you wrote above, are you trying to say that the A139 Pro offers fake 4K with 24fps when using 3 cameras?
A completely unfortunate statement.

Unfortunately, your big speeches from the beginning are just prolonging the topic.

The current a329 has front camera 4k 60 fps and rear camera 2k 30 fps. My suggestion is to add 4k 50 fps for the front camera and 2k 24 fps or 25 fps for the rear camera to the resolution settings of a camera of this capacity.
This is not a fraud, it may mean testing, trying, checking efficiency, reducing temperature, expanding data space, perhaps pleasing some users in the image.

Not me or you. When a new user watches the images, they may consider these light flickers as a problem.
One should not act selfishly.

The SSD disk is just super, but there are also errors!!
The firmware from the SSD is not updated, the firmware file is ignored, the recording starts immediately!!
If you watch the video from the SSD, then 329 freezes and no button works, only removing the power helps!!
From the flash card, everything is great!!
The latest firmware is VIOFO_A329_V1.0_241126
When changing the HDR mode, the WiFi broadcast in the application freezes!!

Interesting the SSD is exFAT so it should work cos microSD in exFAT also works for firmware updates

I picked three different 1-minute front and rear camera video segments from a recent sunny day drive to put together as a 3-minute videos for uploading to YouTube.

That was the first thing I checked when my A329 was delivered.
When I connected the A229 Duo rear camera it played this sound in my head. lol

Back in July when I first received the prototype A329 to test, I confirmed with VIOFO that the A229 Duo rear camera cable is the same cable as the A329 rear camera cable. I used that to my advantage so I could move the A329 between two different cars.

I'm guessing you're questioning my statement of July for the A329. Yes, I received a prototype A329 to begin early testing of the A329 in July 2024.

I don't know if the A229 Duo's rear camera is compatible with the A329. Since the A329's rear camera is based on the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 and the A229 Duo's rear camera is based on the Sony STARVIS IMX335 image sensor, I would venture to guess there might be some differences in how the rear camera is monitored/controlled. That's a question for @viofo

Hahaha, not at all, I just didn't realise it was out there so far back, even Chuck only got one to play with late October time.

How's the drone flying going BTW? You got the new Air 3 S?

After the A229 Pro I specifically told Viofo I'm no longer willing to test & review PRE-PRODUCTION units.
And I'm only willing to test & review fully finished RETAIL / PRODUCTION versions, (same as sold to paying customers).
I simply do not have the intelligence / equipment to offer meaningful feedback.
