Thanks for the sample clips, including from the waterproof rear cam. When watching videos from you guys with your massive plates, I feel like this:

LOL, indeed. The purchase I anxiously await is the front/rear/interior. I'll probably be happy with this, but
I may buy a telephoto. Just in case! Maybe 2? One for the rear, one for the front?
Where oh where is my 5CH dash cam? 🤣
 
On August 8, I received an email from Viofo-official with a tracking number for the parcel.
Today, August 14, at lunchtime, the package was delivered to my home.

Today, A329S 3СН, connected via HK6, worked without problems in parking mode
in a closed car at a temperature of +36° - +37°C for more than 6 hours.

The first check was after almost 3 hours in the parking lot.
The outside temperature was +36°C.

The second check was after more than 6 hours in the parking lot.
The outside temperature was +33.5°C.
 
What parking mode did you set? Do you use the car battery or an auxiliary?

HK6 is connected to the car's fuse box.
Hybrid parking mode is set. At first, it records at a low bit rate, and after reaching 12.0V, it switches to impact recording.
 
Are those crosshairs, for aiming the cameras horizontally and vertically?

Yes. It was added in the Beta version.
If you click the hash icon where the microphone and settings are, it appears; if you click it again, it disappears.
 
Downloaded and installed firmware: V2.0 250925
I tested it today.
Previously, I set the G-sensor in parking mode to maximum sensitivity and it would sometimes trigger when the doors were closed hard.
Now, with the same settings, the video is blocked when the doors are opened.
When turning on the ignition, the A329S with this firmware reports that an event occurred while parking and that there are blocked files.
You need to confirm by pressing "OK" on the Dashcam.

Did you see that the notification does not pop up for impacts soon after you turn off the ignition, or shortly before turning on the ignition. So for most cases it ignores when you exit and leave the vehicle (although those door open/close still trigger the sensor and create a RO file.

I noticed that the notification appears when turning on the ignition,
before/during the transition from parking mode to normal recording mode.
 
It seems that Viofo has been recommending this new firmware version when ever someone posted
here about a problem they were having.
They are still showing the July firmware on their web site and I have been waiting for that to change.

@Karagandinez are you saying you have switched to this new version just to check it out? Or were
you also having an issue?

My Impact Sensor is set to Max and every pothole sets it off, but I really like having the notification
when you switch on the ignition.
