Waiting 2 Hours To Complete Firmware Update

Setting my 552GW dashcam up for the first time. It is connected to my phone via th app fine, but has bee nearly two hours installing the firmware update. Is this normal?

Are you doing the update thru your phone or a pc/laptop?

I was doing it over WiFi. I will delete this now. Because I now realise you have to insert the memory card first! So all went well after that. Mind in fairness to myself never read that in the manual. Or I missed it. But thanks for your reply
