Watch the white Chrysler 300 on the on ramp

You can't see it easily, at first, but it's the first car behind the school bus.

It eventually passes the school bus, using the shoulder, then forces it's way to the left lane, only to exit at the next off ramp.
I passed it twice (while I'm in the right lane in stop and go traffic) before the next exit.....but you gotta be in 'that' lane.

why did the bus have their 4-way flashers on? here, the put them on every time they stop for railroad tracks, but that's about it.

Probably because the freeway is going below the minimum speed limit and bus driver wanted to be sure people behind him knows it's going slow.

I see that in some places, not sure if it's a regional thing? The bus was loaded with what looked like older elementary school kids, or middle school. Kind of silly, it's daylight, traffic is obviously backed up. I'd rather see the bus using turn signals. It looks like it has a white strobe on the back of the bus which isn't on, also.
The chrysler was more intent on using every last inch of the on ramp to get past slow traffic than it was to merge with the traffic. There was plenty of room for it to merge.
