Watch this pickup blast the red light, US 74, North Carolina

That damn big truck coming to a stop probably blocked his view of the 4 red lights.

It's actually good the green light is delayed on the cross street. That's probably also why they have the two pairs of 'twin' redlights, and the rumble strips before that intersection.
 
He was probably confused by the light configuration. Thought it meant stop of you're turning right or left. Since he was going straight they didn't apply. :rolleyes:
 
Maybe he thought they were the taillights of a huge, invisible car?
