Western Express truck tries a shortcut around slow traffic, and hits guardrail

Spotted this morning on Long Island, NY. Traffic was slow, but moving, and some cars and a few large trucks were using the shoulder of the I-678 to get around the backup. Listen closely and you'll hear this Western Express truck brush the guardrail as it flies by. Sounds like metal on metal, maybe the trailer wheels?

(Western Express has a bad safety record, and really scrapes the bottom of the barrel for drivers, or what passes for a driver.)

Too bad he didn't hit the 'Ferrari Driving School' truck ahead of me. Maybe they could have given him a discount for some lessons?

Looked like it could have been the dot bar scraping along with the trailer wheels.
