What is better than the KDlinks X1

I was going to buy the KD Links X1 because it seemed the best camera on Amazon.com. However, on this site I have read that there are better cameras for the money?

Could you recommend me a better camera than the KD Links X1 with similar features.

Definitely stay away from KDlinks (EDIT: or any battery based dashcam)

This says it all, KDLINKS X1 Battery over heated and exploded! That's really dangerous.

That's always the question, depends on budget, day/night driving, parking mode or not, heat/cold, capacity, etc.
