Which is best for cold weather?

I'm in Quebec and we'll get nights that'll dip down to -40 so I'll see how my sg9665gc holds up.
Yeah, that's a bit 'chilly' - regardless of whether it's "F" or "C". :(

Ya got that right lol !

Up in Calgary Alberta we commonly get to -30 W/O Windchill to -50 with a windchill
Luckily electronics don't care about windchill, this is only relevant for organics (windchill affects the feel and ability to keep the higher temperature than the atmosphere).
But up to around -30 C here too and none of my cameras so far have had issues (none with parking mode available, so cold stats at -30 C).

That's good to know !

I have never noticed anything faults when its cold.
The screen shows a video that looks like you are drunk, but thats doesn't last long.
Plus with the camera being on the windshield. You are blasted hot air on it. So it doesn't take long to warm up.

So until it warms up the video is like a drunk lol ?

Well, the sensor is more like slow depending on the sensor itself. Some sensors can work better on low temperatures than others, haven't noticed anything on mine even with -30 C.
Think of the effect as a motion blur. It won't last long though because the sensor will heat itself up quite quickly.
