Why did blackvue only sell a QHD dr750 in australia?

theres a blackvue dash cam i just discovered called he blackvue dr750g, it records in 1440p and was only sold in australia, anone know why?

it's 1080p not 1440p, just a model they made up for sale through car dealerships, car dealers like to have different models than retailers so they can rape customers with their pricing
