WiFi dashcam and Android head unit.

Hi, just bought a Chinese WiFi dashcam. Works fine thru my Android phone...connects to the app and immediately shows the live view on my phone. However I have installed the same app on my car Android head unit but I don't get a connection between the app and the camera although the head unit is connected to the camera by WiFi. Any ideas?
