Hangzhou XiongMai Technology Co., Ltd (aka Yuncooltech) acts primarily as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and sells few products under its own name. The XM Warrior G1 and G1S are an exception - although there are a few OEM suppliers too. They company also makes a wide range of video security cameras.
Review Summary: Excellent battery life at at very reasonable price but some quality issues. Night vision of the G1S is very good.
Daytime video Quality is good although best to use H264 compression. H265 compression increases the data storage at the expense of image quality with darker video.
Night video is excellent on the G1S with the Sony IMX291 2.13MP Starlight Sensor - the G1 has a 1/3" 4 Megapixel OV4689 BSI Sensor and is for daylight use only.
There is anti shake option in the settings.
As a dashcam, There is a looping option in the settings and also g-sensor which will record a segment of video for a set number of minutes if the camera is moved.
The App allows you to change the setting to overwrite the existing data if the memory is full.
Audio is OK if you're stationary but the microphone is on top of the camera in a circular recess and, as anyone who has blow over a bottle will know, this causes whistling in strong winds. I found the best solution was to put tape over it.
Wrist Watch waterproof remote works well and can be paired with multiple cameras to allow them to be triggered from the same remote.
Waterproof ability while it works most of the time, it does require you to ensure you screw up the rear cap tightly to create a waterproof seal if you are going to fully immerse the camera. In addition, the screws around the front lens cover are not 316 stainless steel and so may corrode if used in seawater.

Video Encoding and Storage
The camera supports H264 (Default) and H265 video compression. H265 reduced video file size by 40% but there is a distinct reduction in image brightness when H265 is used as the images below show - the H265 image is darker.
The SD card cannot be changed without disassembly in the G1 and G1S but I have seen a post from someone who has used a larger capacity SD Card which works if formatted as FAT 32.
Watermark
While the App allows you to add a custom text watermark to the camera at the bottom of the image, you cannot remove the XM watermark shown in the top left of the video image.

Controls
XM Warrior Instruction Video
Note: While in theory you could connect a Waterproof WiFi cable to the back of the camera you can only do so if the cap is removed and thus the camera will no longer be water-tight.
No external microphone support

Folders and Files:
SD card has JPG, VIDEO and XM Video folders
The XM Video files are low res H264 images which are used for playing video in the mobile phone App over WiFi.
Files have date/time so easy to find a particular file. Files can also be date/time stamped.
At the Best video quality settings, overall VBR for 1080p 30fps is 4.9 mbps.
Video 4.9 mbps and audio 61.4 kbps.
