Hello DDPAI Team,

I am experiencing an issue with my DDPAI Z60 Pro where the device becomes stuck on the startup screen and remains frozen on the DDPAI logo during boot. The camera does not proceed to normal operation or recording.

Here are the troubleshooting steps that have already been performed:

  • Removed the microSD card completely.
  • Formatted the microSD card multiple times.
  • Tested using a known good high-performance/high-endurance microSD card.
  • Verified that the issue still occurs even without the SD card installed.
Based on these tests, the issue does not appear to be related to the SD card and seems to be specific to the Z60 Pro unit itself.

My suspicion is that the firmware may have become corrupted and that the device may require a manual firmware recovery or reflash procedure to restore normal operation.

Could DDPAI please advise on the following:

  1. Is there a recovery mode or emergency firmware flashing method available for the Z60 Pro?
  2. Can you provide the latest firmware package for manual installation?
  3. Are there any instructions or tools required to perform a firmware reflash on the device?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as the camera is currently unusable due to being stuck on the startup screen.

Thank you.

Hello,

We suggest that you first keep the device powered on, then press and hold the button indicated in the red box in the image for 6 seconds to see if it resets and resolves the issue.

Additionally, could you please provide the Serial Number of the device? This will help us identify the specific model and provide you with the correct manual firmware upgrade package.

Thank you for your assistance.

We have followed the instructions provided regarding the reboot procedure; however, the problem still persists. The Z60 Pro remains stuck on the startup logo screen during boot-up and does not proceed further. We have also removed and reformatted the SD card and confirmed that we are using a high-performance, compatible SD card with no issues. The issue appears to be isolated to this particular Z60 Pro unit.

Since the standard troubleshooting steps have already been completed without success, we believe the issue may be related to the device firmware. We kindly request the latest firmware file and instructions for manually reflashing or recovering the device.

We appreciate your support and look forward to your guidance on the next steps.

Hello,

If the problem still exists, please follow the steps below to update the firmware using a card reader:

1.Power off the device, remove the TF card, and insert it into the USB port of your computer using a card reader.

2.Copy the extracted "Update" folder to the root directory of the TF card.

3.Insert the TF card into the dashcam, power it on, and the device will automatically update. The upgrade will be complete after the device restarts.

Here is the link to the update folder: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pwtyUxdFlhpA1xXTlGHg4ELT3_isRbaU/view?usp=sharing

This should resolve the issue.
