Seems to be a reasonable explanation for the AZ blood clotting deaths now - incorrect use of the needle resulting in the vaccine going into a vein, as IIRC Denmark sorted out ages ago but the WHO has refused to change the instructions!

Tomorrow the first batch of the PB vaccines we got from Romania will arrive, this additional purchase have pushed forward the vaccination scheme with 2 weeks.
I am sort of wondering why they have not called me as i am good for the #2 shot, but maybe due to them trying to call me 8 times some days ago, and calling while i was sleeping.
BUT ! its okay i can wait to July 13 if i have to.

Also just read Denmark will be donating 1 million AZ vaccines to the Balkans,,,,,,, as i feared these surplus vaccines will be given away by our smug politicians, and the idiot Danish tax payers will gladly pay for that.
I imagine what would happen in Romania if they just gave their 1.1 mill PB vaccines to Denmark.

Australia has video of people catching the Delta variant just by walking past an infected person, only takes a couple of seconds contact, not the 15 minutes at closer than 1.5 meters that their covid safe app is using to decide who goes into quarantine!

Delta variant has made COVIDSafe 'very useless'. Why hasn't it been updated?

COVIDSafe, which costs $100,000 per month to run, has not been updated to reflect the behaviour of the variant that has put capital cities into lockdown.

the app is not used to decide who goes into quarantine, only about who they contact for follow up, the uptake of the app hasn't been strong enough for it to be that useful anyway, we now have to scan a QR code and check in via an app to any place we go which is proving to be much more effective of knowing who was where and at what times

The Delta variant is clearly different. Impossible to know if catching it just by walking past someone is normal or very rare, in most countries there is too much about to ever be sure of the source, but there are clearly some cases where it happens. It is now thought normal in the UK that if someone in a household gets Delta then the rest of the non-immune in the house will also test positive, no point in isolating someone in their bedroom like you could before Delta.

None of the apps seem to have done anything useful except for scanning QR codes, and that only works if covid cases are in less than triple figures, which is very few places!

The huge increase in Delta in Scotland from 1000 per day to 4000 per day has occurred within days of the England-Scotland football match where 1300 Scottish people traveled down to London for the match and 2000 scottish infections were directly connected to the match! Nobody knows if they caught it on the journey, in the streets or at the game, although many of them traveled but didn't go to the actual football stadium. But it doesn't matter, just means they are suffering cold symptoms for a few days, and the current wave will be over faster! Maybe, the end results aren't available yet...

What is encouraging in the UK is the hike in infections that isn't being reflected by hospital admissions or deaths.

Long may that continue which may lead to some herd immunity, but I'm no expert.

Today was a good day, 5 less in hospital, 1 less in ICU, and 2 less on ventilator.
Okay 1 SOB died, thats just too bad.

In the same 24 hours 1 have been shout dead and a few more wounded by gunfire, as animals continue to fight over the drug market like the parasites they are.
I would come down like a ton of bricks on things like that if i was in charge.
CUZ it is pretty simple really, the government here have taken any and all rights to violence, so it should also deal with it swiftly, or do something so honest people stop being victims.

Here is one of the local headstart type/preschool buildings being converted to a quarantine center for ten people.

I will register for the vaccine soon. Was dragging my feet....mostly using the sinovac vaccine at this point.
My girlfriend is a teacher, gets her first jab in two days.

Bit late, the delta variant is likely to become widespread very quickly. Book it ASAP.
The sinovac has not been very effective at stopping spread in places like Chile, but that doesn't mean it won't protect you from death, much better than nothing.

We might have a lot of Delta about, but we were also back to record low total deaths last week, and total deaths so far this year have been less than for the same time of year in 5 of the last 10 years. The vaccines work, 86% of adults have had the 1st dose and 64% the 2nd.

Had my 2nd jab on Feb. 3rd
Pfizer
1st and 2nd jab had slight discomfort at the injection site for about a day
2 days after the 2nd dose I was pretty fatigued and lethargic for most of the day.

Still waiting to see if I grow horns, or a pitchfork tail, or any of the other bad things the anti-vaxxers say will happen.

We still got 1 mill vaccines sitting idle, i hear Aussies could use those, but that country are probably not extreme enough to be considered.

I am getting my #2 shot of PB on Tuesday, absolutely no side affect from #1 aside for something injected in the shoulder and so it being a little sore, but i was working at my friends place the day after, and so i probably also will on next Wednesday ( today we build framework for a big fake mountain )
