Are you running two E1 Pro cameras side by side to make that composite video? Pretty nice comparison!

Yes, 2 E1 Pro cameras are installed side by side.

Ha, thatโ€™s what I thought. I was really impressed there for a second ๐Ÿ˜‰ Trying to figure out how you did that with one camโ€ฆ

It's impossible.
Way to many variables.
Speed, sun, etc.
For a comparison like @Karagandinez and I do, 2 units are required.

The E1 Pro has a Novatek NT98528 processor. I saw this in a photo taken by user @JeWell when disassembling this model.
Yeah, same as Novatek NT96580, not sure why they call it by a different model number when they are the exact same chipset

Can you provide the datasheet for these processors, I want to make sure they are the same.

Viofo confirmed it if you search on the forums. As for Novatek datasheets from the last few years, good luck, no one has had any real luck finding them ๐Ÿคฃ

Then there is no point in saying something you cannot back up. The manufacturer should do that.

I don't know if they are the same or not, but I can see what is written on the chip: Novatek NT98528BG

I just said that Viofo said they are the same chipset, did you not read that?

It seems they themselves don't know for sure. ,๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ƒ

If it's keeping you awake at night, then by all means chase it up with Viofo or Novatek.

There must be precision in everything.๐Ÿ˜Ž

There is another possibility that they confused the numbers in the NT96580 as being NT98560.

Which when you Google it, then that becomes very similar to NT98528/NT98529 etc etc
