70mai T800 coming soon! (front and rear 4K Starvis 2 IMX678 + interior 1080p, three channel HDR)

It's strange, looking at the parameters of the T800, it seems that the front camera doesn't support 4k60fps, but the domestic version does support it, just without HDR

It does support it but only with RC24, which uses IMX662. Makes sense that it won't support 4k60 when paired with the RC41 IMX678 though

The test units samples will be sent out soon.

Do we know about the pricing and availability? I currently have my A329S on hold, tempted to get this bad boi if the dual 4K works out great. Is there an option to not include the interior cam?

The latest webpage is here - but I don't knowwhen it was last updated from the first day it appeared... https://4kt800.70mai.com/

It's interesting though...

I believe you can just turn the interior camera off.

However it would be great if the T800 interior can be turned off during driving and on during parking mode. 70mai confirmed this function isn't available. But it is available on the Viofo 329s. But I think this could be done in a software update so hopefully in the future.

The interior cam is fixed in the front housing. You can see this if you go to the website Paul linked.
There might be the option to disable it in the settings.

Both units have their pros and cons.

Props to googles visual translation using the phone camera, without above would be lost on me.

Hello from Japan.
For VIOFO A139P User like me, T800 seems much advanced DashCam.
Also interested in parking surveillance capability, 5G/4G cloud support.
I plan to change A139P to T800.

Now 70mai is now selling KS VIP ticket for $9.99.

Have you heard anything about what the T800E is @Augustus ?

@mentadent, @Augustus
Yes, GalaxyCore, but a different sensor, if you look at the specifications on aliexpress, then there is a 4MP sensor: GC4663. And yes, 4K is interpolation...

AliExpress listings like that often are wrong with whatever devices or watches or other items. You'd need to find the actual photo or advertising material for the product and go from there

Okay.... i personally asked 70mai, there really is a 4MP sensor installed and interpolation is used...
Besides, this model has a low price and 3 recording channels, an 8 MP sensor cannot be so cheap.

Will double check, maybe it's the A800SE that has the 8MP galaxycore sensor then, I knew one of them had it ..
