Anyway, taking the statistics at face value that only 16% of respondents have dashed cameras in the United states, that means 84% do not drive with one.

I guess that it includes people with Teslacams? Which would be 4% of USA drivers? I don't know if all Teslas owners in USA would answer that they had a dashcam because they have a Tesla? Tesla cams are disabled in some countries, but I don't know the details...

So exactly like my guess, the United States is a moderate consumer base for dash cameras, similar to Europe. Even if that 16% accounts for Tesla's built in cameras, it's still not an overwhelming number of Americans who have one in their vehicle. Asia and Australia appear to be the largest markets for dash cams.

However, I would still say 10s of millions of American Drivers are nothing to sneeze about for an industry (dashcams) that is still considered a niche market

Verizon surveyed over 400 fleet managers operating fleets of 3 to 500 vehicles in the UK in 2020, and 88% use dash cameras.

I find it hard to believe most of the figures available for UK, maybe I'll go for a walk and look at some cars!

No, I believe USA is behind Europe, that map is growth rate, so it says that USA is not catching up.

The U.S. are likely moderate users of dash cams when compared to other countries, most likely due to how insurance works here. Most states I have been in, if the car can be driven away and there are no injuries, the police want the drivers to resolve it between themselves. If there are car parts on the road, injuries, or a vehicle needs to be towed then the police want to be involved. In most cases where there are injuries, or not, people do tend to stop to be a witness and to provide help.

The U.S. dash cam market is nothing to be sneezed at though, and I continue to see more cars with a dash cam on a weekly basis. Similar to the market for aftermarket InfoTainment centers in late model cars, a big market for now.

I'm sure this has been mentioned and I apologize for asking out of convenience, but what in country are dash Vueroid Cams manufactured? Is it made in Korea or China? You refer to market volatility. I just wondered how market volatility is going to impact production and release

Made in Korea!
We have never used Chinese manufacturing services yet.
During the last CES, I met some Chinese OEM and ODM players but couldn't find the right one yet.
We have a local low-category line and thought it could be helpful.
Now, even that plan has disappeared.

It is indeed a very good time for us. We are struggling in a good way and re-planning our strategy.
Of course, it is not yet ready to launch technically, but yes, it's almost there.

The ship is not labeled Kia or Hyundai, it is labeled SAIC, which is China's largest Automotive Manufacturer, and runs it's own shipping company. So how much are the tariffs on those South Korean cars shipped in to the USA by the Chinese?

구체적으로 설명드릴 수는 없지만, 타사대비 밝은 렌즈를 도입했던 이유가 동일 조건에서 좀 더 셔터를 컨트롤 하기 위해서 였습니다.
사용자가 직접 조절하는 것은 아니지만 적절한 모드 선택을 통해 컨트롤 된 셔터를 활용할 수 있도록 준비했습니다.
셔터 컨트롤을 통해 번호판을 쉽게 딸 수 있기도 하지만 Trade-off되는 성능도 상당히 많습니다.
쉽지 않은 부분임은 아시리라 생각합니다.

Yes this new system will probably be a nice surprise in the summer.

Denmark not so far north, you will have to drive another 1000 - 1500 Km North to get to where the sun do not set in summer.
So short nights or should i say dark periods here, also seen today, unlike last year, this summer in the long term prognosis might become one of the good ones in regard to temperatures and rainfall.
2024 was the wettest summer in 13 years and the coldest one in 7 years, 2025 could be a top 10 summer in regard to temperature and lack of rainfall.

As i am not a farmer i look forward to warm and dry days, even if i no longer cope as good with high temperatures like i did when i was 45 % lighter in bodyweight.
hopefully also many days with little wind, that will be very good for my shooting hobby.

좋은 스위치 같네요, 다른 브랜드와 다른 스타일을 볼 수 있어서 좋네요. 일단 설치되면 볼 수 없을 거예요!적절한 스위치이기 때문에 전원을 100% 끄는 반면 대부분의 대시캠에서 전원 버튼은 여전히 전원을 한 번 끄면 카메라를 다시 켜기 위해 버튼을 다시 누르는 시기를 감지하는 데 사용됩니다.

Q: It appears the S1 4K Infinite uses a “sliding switch” to power down the camera.

대부분 한국제품에는 전원스위치가 있습니다. 설치 후 전원인가 할 때도 사용하고 SD카드 제거하고 다시 삽입할 때 이 스위치를 사용합니다. 번거롭게 전원 케이블을 빼고 삽입할 필요가 없습니다. 이렇게 물리적으로 사용하는 전원스위치는 프로그램이 오류날 경우를 대비해서 완벽하게 제품을 콘트롤하는 수단이 됩니다.

The S1-4K will be available for purchase on Amazon US in a few days.
If you’re an early adopter with money to burn, first 100 customers get a free 256GB Official Vueroid SD Card, (I would also buy the 512GB).
If you’re not in the US, don’t worry the S1-4K will be available for purchase globally soon enough.

If you’re the cautious type, that like to watch the feeding frenzy, hang back and watch the action unfold.
I’ve been trying to get intimate with the S1-4K since June 24, 2025.
I can’t wait to tell you guys why I think the S1-4K 3CH is the only “true” competition for the Viofo A329S 3CH in 2025.
Also a few things that drive me up the wall, but that’s due to my own ignorance, stubbornness, and limited technical education.

So far the best thing about the S1-4K is Jessie & James, and the Vueroid team working tirelessly to get this camera ready for launch.
It feels like they did 1 year worth of work in 1 Month.

My test & review was going to be a “3-Way Battle Royale Cage Match” including 70mai T800 3CH but my test units have been delayed.
So any T800 testing will have to wait.

I’ve got my usual oddball image quality tests / comparisons lined up.
Go ahead, and start leaving your questions about the S1-4K 3CH, and any other tests you want performed in “special configurations” and I will answer them in my testing thread upon official release, (when I get permission to spill all the beans).
