The cat is almost out of the bag.
The S1-4K will be available for purchase on Amazon US in a few days.
If you’re an early adopter with money to burn, first 100 customers get a free 256GB Official Vueroid SD Card, (I would also buy the 512GB).
If you’re not in the US, don’t worry the S1-4K will be available for purchase globally soon enough.

If you’re the cautious type, that like to watch the feeding frenzy, hang back and watch the action unfold.
I’ve been trying to get intimate with the S1-4K since June 24, 2025.
I can’t wait to tell you guys why I think the S1-4K 3CH is the only “true” competition for the Viofo A329S 3CH in 2025.
Also a few things that drive me up the wall, but that’s due to my own ignorance, stubbornness, and limited technical education.

So far the best thing about the S1-4K is Jessie & James, and the Vueroid team working tirelessly to get this camera ready for launch.
It feels like they did 1 year worth of work in 1 Month.

My test & review was going to be a “3-Way Battle Royale Cage Match” including 70mai T800 3CH but my test units have been delayed.
So any T800 testing will have to wait.

I’ve got my usual oddball image quality tests / comparisons lined up.
Go ahead, and start leaving your questions about the S1-4K 3CH, and any other tests you want performed in “special configurations” and I will answer them in my testing thread upon official release, (when I get permission to spill all the beans).

I am so happy you made this post! I am waiting on the edge of my seat. Have been holding out on buying A329S/T because of this dashcam. Looking forward to seeing head to head comparisons. One question I have is: How does S1-4k's AI solution compare to Viofo's Telephoto solution for plate capture. These are two different methods to tackle the same problem. My other questions is if Vueroid has plans to add telephoto to this dashcam. I am assuming it could use the IR-cam input jack, similar to viofo, if they decided to develop one. A telephoto cam with Vueroids AI plate restoration would be the ultimate solution for plate capture 🙂

One question I have is: How does S1-4k's AI solution compare to Viofo's Telephoto solution for plate capture. These are two different methods to tackle the same problem.

This is the $64,000 dollar question.
Unfortunately this is one aspect of evaluation I will be kneecapped to some degree.
The AI Plate restoration software requires a Windows PC, or MAC computer.
Guess what, I own neither.
I have not had a personally owned Windows PC since 2012.
I used them in my professional career, but I have been buying / using $100 Google Chromebooks since 2012.
Basically all I need to do it check email, websurf, and watch YouTube.
Yes, the AI Plate Restoration works on smartphones & tablets with the APP, but I’m not keen on using my tiny iPhone screen when I’m used to looking at my 43” 4K Samsung monitor connected to my Chromebook with an HDMI cable.
But don’t worry.
Ariel, Robert, Ben, and Lufa6977 are basically “computer experts” to put it modestly.

My other questions is if Vueroid has plans to add telephoto to this dashcam. I am assuming it could use the IR-cam input jack, similar to viofo, if they decided to develop one. A telephoto cam with Vueroids AI plate restoration would be the ultimate solution for plate capture

We asked for that too.
We’ll see, but I would not hold your breath.
However a telephoto needs to be a minimum 2K 1440p to provide any benefit.
A 1080p telephoto has no benefit compared to a traditional wide angle 4K camera.
The very first Viofo Telephoto was supposed to be a remote camera for the A139 Pro.
But it was ditched when they found that out.

You know that you can use the "Screen Mirroring" function on your iPhone Control Panel to put your Phone screen, including the App, up on your 43" 4K Samsung monitor, without needing to bother with an HDMI cable? I think you can connect an HDMI cable to your phone if you wan't, but it will work fine over wifi.

That sounds like a solution, however I trust my HDMI cable over any kind of wireless communication due to "lag".
Also I tried that mirroring sorcery when I first got the 43" Samsung 4K TV and either I didn't like it or I couldn't figure it out.
Don't remember.
But thank you for reminding me of that option.
It may come to that.
I don't have an HDMI to lightning cable, only HDMI to HDMI full size.

Unless you live in the USA or have someone to ship it elsewhere, I don't believe @Vueroid has yet released the S1 Infinite 4K to other markets. If you select any country other than the USA, it'll show unavailable.

When i go to Amazon.com, the site go AAaaaaaaa
And go this - that- pretty much anything can not be shipped to Denmark.

My reputation precede me 🙂

Actually on a funny side note, way back in the day i ordered my first 1080p dashcam thru Amazon.com, and the sale went through.

But then next day was cancelled by amazon CUZ such things was illegal to send to Denmark.
I wrote to them and told them that yes my country are not at all well, but we are not yet at North Korea level unwell, and there is no laws against dashcams.
