I have received a reply from the VIOFO help desk. In the form of a PDF version of the RAR/JPG . The PDF has all 15 pages condensed onto one PDF page. So hopefully their Mkii version will be better.

My point was & still is, that an online copy of a paper manual, should be usuable, without any such work. Just like every other manual I've ever seen & used.

Has anyone tried printing a copy from the jpg? Getting all 15 pages condensed onto one physical page is not what I was expecting.

Tried that. It still wants to print one ONE page *sniff*. AND also saves as 15 pages squashed into one page.

Whilst I agree & noticed that, after trying several "unzip"s. Condensing 15 pages into ONE, does not make a viable version.

I always use an old sheet for the template. As it conforms better to the dash's shape. Unless you got very heavy felt. The new dashmat will probably need to be stuck down to the dashboard, to stop it blowing away when the doors are open.

For many many years before I got a car that didn't need a dashmat. I made custom covers out of black felt. Worked better than polarised sun glasses.

IMO anything that teaches you HOW to think, it BETTER than learning what to think
