0801 refuses to keep correct time

I've set the time 20 times today. It seems to keep the year/month/day OK, but the time jumps all over the place. I just set it for 1620 and 15 minutes later it said 2314. And what is the icon in front of the date on the 'set' command?

It auto sets time off GPS. Did you set your Offset correctly? I use -8 for California. I don't think it takes in consideration Daylight savings so you might have to -1 or +1 extra depending what happens.

you might be looking at the Timezone to the left of the time and date, if you have that incorrect when the GPS gets signal it may (depending on firmware) adjust the clock

Thanks. That fixed it. I hadn't been able to figure out what the teeny-weeny icon for time zone was. My wifes magnifying glass helped.
