2025 Dream Dash Cam - 5CH Box Unit

When Picard say Red Alert, Hell march start to play in my mind due to entirely too many hours playing that game in the old days.
 
Why does a dashcam (box) have to be limited to a single microSD card slot? For a fantasy device, you could have 5 slots, one for each channel!

You are correct.
In my A229 Pro 2025 Improvement wishlist I was going to wish for dual SD Card slots that support 1TB each;

But then I decided against it because I thought it may increase system complexity beyond acceptable limits.
Also, I can see consumers inserting 5 different brands of SD Cards all with different speed classes, and differing amounts of wear & tear.
This could easily turn into a malfunction nightmare, not to mention diagnosing which card is bad.
So I stuck with a single SD Card slot.
