I don’t understand why it’s started doing it, also the buttons on the touch screen have gone mad, if I press the settings buttons it selects a different icon in the page.

Have you tried updating the firmware to the latest version and also if that doesn't work, to factory reset the dashcam?

Failing that, might be worth reaching out to the manufacturer, but as that model is quite old now you might be out of luck unfortunately...
