A118-C Recommended Settings?

Is anyone else getting sort of noisy video?

I mean it's not terrible but for the bitrate it seems really bad.

I just got my new A118C and I changed a few settings. Since I'm in USA I set the video format to NTSC/60hz instead of the default PAL/50hz. I also turned off motion detection and G-shock feature. Changed the time zone and set the time. I left everything else the same. I did preview the videos taken on my commute to work and was disappointed in the quality. I then realized that I failed to remove the translucent blue lens plastic during install. lol Needless to say that helped out a bit. I have not had a chance to use it on a bright sunny day so far. Mostly low light and I think it's a little behind my previous G1W in low light performance. Build quality though seems vastly superior when compared to the G1W. Those cameras have horrible mounts that vibrate and come lose way too easily. The G1W had a very cheap feel to it but to its credit never broke at the mount. A dead battery did that one in.

G1W are generally an f/1.8 lens, the A118 are an f/2.8 lens so won't do as well at night

Thanks, I took a second look at my old G1W's footage and it looked pretty much the same.
