Is there an option to have it record in parking mode only when the G shock is activated, instead of the combination of G shock and motion?
Right now it's a problem to park somewhere when there are constant moving traffic because the parking mode is constant triggered.

Have you tried turning the sensitivity to it's minimum?

Can't think of any easy way to do that. Parking mode switches the G-sensor menu setting to "High Sensitivity", but only after the camera detects no camera/car motion (G-sensor) and no motion in the camera field of view (motion detection) for 90 seconds. After that, any moderate to hard bumps to the car will cause an event (emergency) recording, distinguishable in that the event file is stored in the RO folder, separating it from the motion detection activated time-lapse recordings and normal recordings. If the G-sensor detects a slight camera movement, it just causes the camera to revert {Edit: from Standby or Timelapse recording} to normal recording. A slightly harder bump activates an event recording. There is no adjustment for motion detection sensitivity.
