Can you share more about the 'brick-on-a-stick' cam?
'brick-on-a-stick' is a nice way of saying poop on a stick:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Poop? Like some expensive cams From Thinkware, GoPro, and JooVuu?:rolleyes::rolleyes: Form-factor indicates only form-factor, or the B40 would be a top-rated cam :p

Cams do not all mount in the center of a windshield with a frit and space behind the mirror for the cam. And many of the newest cars have the space between the mirror and the glass filled with sensors. Plus many of us have side and rear cams where the 'wedge' form-factor simply can't be easily fitted :(

The wrong form-factor limits your choices since if it doesn't fit you can't use it  That can mean instead of getting a cam with the features you wanted, you have to use something less suitable. For years I have been calling for cam manufacturers to offer cams which have the same hardware in different form-factors which wouldn't be too hard to accomplish if they designed their cam with that goal in mind from the start  All that would really take is a ribbon cable connected lens ad LCD panel (which is already being done in many cams) and pne added ribbon socket to connect a separate PCB board for the switch buttons on the 'secondary' model design. Plus of course the proper case :D

It's no good to the consumer or the manufacturer if somebody wants your product but cannot use it because of it having the wrong form-factor  One size never fits all.
