take out the word "American" and your statement would be correct. :D

and that's not because i like american cars - I own two Toyotas and a Mazda, though both toyotas happen to have been built in the US. the miata was built in Hiroshima.
 
I assume the miata dont need a battery comming from Hiroshima :D
