Are Gitup Git1 Git2 Batteries only 730mah?

one of the SJ4000 I had stuck to the side window didn’t record anything as I was climbing the Alps

My advice is to buy also the remote control. Pressing from time to time to Video button and hearing the beep will make you sure you are recording.

you are so right on this Mtz, at the same time as going for the Gitup2 I'll find out the costs of the mic and the remote control thingy, I can see it being mighty handy.

if the Gitup2 is stuck on the outside of the car (as I plan) and the location where its needed to be switched on isn’t for a few miles further down the road and you can’t stop the car to manually start recording (as there isn't a place to pull up) it will more than pay for itself

At my car I made a USB power source with a switch. When I want to manually start a camera I am using the switch and also I use it for stop. Usually I am using it for tested dashcams but because GitUp have car dvr mode it can autostart recording when is powered through USB connector.
