I haven't bought a new vehicle in a long time, but will buy two in the next year. I think the modest hassle of installing a rear power/usb port if there isn't one already is worth it. If you have 3-4 people riding in a vehicle, 3-4 of them expect to charge a phone. I haven't done any elaborate installations in my old pickup since it's days are numbered, and I don't drive it much.
