Battery pack confusion??

So i have a viofo a129 pro. Looking for an external battery pack to run it while the vehicle is off. The conundrum here is all i see being spoken about and advertised is the cell link neo and blackvue plus maybe some others on Youtube, Forums etc... Whats the draw back from going on amazon and buying a $40 battery pack instead of a $250+ pack and running it? any help is appreciated.
 
Grade C cells & probably a warranty not worth the paper it's written on.

Or you could put in a DC-DC charger & a AGM or Gel battery & actually have decent capacity & run fridge & everything else if need be!
