Battery usage

Guys,

I'm planning on buying a new camera (not quite sure which one yet but must be 1080+ and have good night vision) but I'm curious I am wanting to do a trip and see a good portion of Oz and I'm wondering whether there would be any drain on the cars battery if I drove for say 10 hours (maybe longer in some remoter parts) - the last thing I want is to end in the middle of the never never with a flat battery.

Any thoughts?
