beste place for a dashcam - mini 0805

Trying to find a place to fit a mini 0805 in my van i thought: "hey, lets stick it on the back of the mirror and out of the direct sun", as on hot summer days my navigator from uncle tom occasionally mentions that it's getting too hot, even switches off, and so i usually put some sun protection cover over it, a road map LoL. Now with this 0805: you can only stick it to the windscreen alas due the limited swivel range of the GPS socket .... has any one maybe found a solution especially for this (der)range(d) limitation? - Thnx, F
