Black Box B40-C stopped recording. Help!

My Black Box B40-C stopped recording in April 2018 and I just noticed. It does power on. Is there any troubleshooting guide or firmware update? My guess is that "Black Box" isn't a brand, it's just a way of saying that it's generic. Here's a link to the one I purchased. https://www.amazon.com/gp/B00TXR2P40

Could be as simple as a bad SD card. Cards have a limited life span and will eventually die. Test yours using a program called 'h2testw' - available many places online but the version here is known to be good - https://support.streetguardian.info/downloads . If it tests out OK then the problem is likely with the camera.

Yes the memory card even in mid range cameras are often the weakest link, so you should check it with H2testw as mentioned ( test the full formatted card not just a little empty space on it )
I have had high end memory cards go bad on me before i got to fill them 1 single time, just prove that can happen too, and its not only in gaming and love i have bad luck.
