Not me sadly, but my friend.

We need front, rear, and interior cam setup. I'm getting mixed ideas as to what the best option is.

Some say the Blackvue DR650GW-2CH, some the Street Guardian SG9665GC, and others Blacksys. Basically want the best without getting past prolly $400?

Is the Blackvue the only option for the 3 camera setup? I feel the interior cam is important cause he likes his tinder sloots and i feel like they might try to take advantage of him. However, I'm not very impressed by the video quality.

Any help is appreciated.

Blackvue is 2 channel, not 3

the Blacksys form factor I think would be a problem for you in that car due to the rake of the window

yeah i know that, i just meant 3ch cause the IR interior cam option.

Oh, i see what you're saying.

you replace the rear camera with the IR. thanks.

Would I just need a separate 3rd camera for internal then? would that be possible to power and setup alongside a 2CH setup?

it would just be another camera, what fits best is probably hard to know, it's not the type of car we see everyday

As I understood he needs something very discrete ?

it'd nice, but I'm not sure it's that important.

basically needs it for standard dashcam stuff, then an internal for his escorts/tinder dates lmao.

Why the price limit? Anyone who can afford a $250,000 Lambo can afford any available dashcam setup. Fishy...

lmao, true, but it doesn't mean you have to. i honestly just didn't ask him.

put it this way, he isn't rich enough not to have buyers remorse. If you have suggestions up to $1k, it wouldn't hurt, but it's unlikely. :)

Exotica like the Huracan attracts the envy of lowlife, who would key the side of the car for fun ... see below for example. A serious dashcam setup would cover front, rear & both sides. Pre-buffered parking mode, & something like the Vico-Power Plus to enable parking mode without flattening the car battery.

The new QVIA T790 (x4) looks suitable ...

It has inbuilt power management, so the Vico-Power Plus wouldn't be needed. Add in the interior facing camera & professional installation, & it's $1,000. Probably less than the Excess on the Insurance Policy.

hehe with a car like that there should be no need to pay for "some things" :p but that would make "some things" a major turn off for me, so useless from my perspective.
Not that i prefer to pay for "some things" but "some things" for free is a major turn off for me, make me thing this "some thing" might actually be "everyones thing"

Then i am the kind of guy that would not buy a car like that but spend 2 - 3 X the money on a buttugly bombproof 10 ton truck, guess its a matter of how you want to be "special" or seen.
1 thing is for sure my dream "car" will not make "some things" throw them self at me for the sake of my ride, they proberly wont even see my old wrinkly ass up there behind the bulletproof windows
And they sure as hell cant get into my ride wearing ther 5" stilettos and that mini dress :)

Im somewhat of a loss recomending a camera for a car like that, not least with current cameras.

1. do it even have a rear window ? if it do its proberly a small one like its more or less the norm for such cars.

For camera discreetness then the SGZC12RC would be most stealthy in any windows and the recording the cabin of the car, but then you would have to stash the 3 main units somewhere.
And to my knowlege of such cars storage compartments are pretty low down the list.

I think i would wait and see what Street Guardian have up ther sleeve in regard to dualchannel cameras, and then add a SGZV12RC for cabin filming.

So what's the deal here? Are you this guy's consigliere or something?

Or maybe this thread is just an elborate joke. The car photo looks like it was lifted from somewhere else, what with the "If this scrapes bottom"... message on the image and the enclosed number six on the upper left corner.

I think you're right! Maybe somebody should start producing lime green dash cams! Somebody get jokiin on the phone! :D

if you saw some of the Chinese domestic market products you'd know this is feasible, actually from memory there is already a lime green and white model out in the market
