Yes plugged it into computer with USB and get the same blue light.

sounds like you may just have a dud though

seller is sending a new camera. when i ordered it i got the 5v hardwire and the Cpl filter.

we will see what comes in this new package. possibly have a few extra parts.

Have you tried re-setting the camera.

Not sure with the 0806 but with the 0805 if you press and hold the large power button on the end for about 20/30 seconds it should re-boot.

Nothing to loose so worth a try.

i had tried the master reset. couldn't get anything to work.
New camera arrived on Friday. had to pay DHL import/duty fees twice(express from China). but in the end now i have 2 hard wire cables and 2 Gps bases.
i will hard wire and base my work vehicle also so i can do easy vehicle swaps with the camera.

New camera works fine. possibly in the future i will be able to unbrick the damaged one when i get the OTG cable.

also wanted to add. first camera i received had a Number 3 on the plastic screen protector and was a bitch to get off. New camera had a 4 on the screen protector and had the corner already peeled off for easy grip.
