Converting .log file to NMEA format

Does anyone know of a program that will convert the .log file that the 0805 creates into NMEA format?
I've tried GPSBabelFE, but the .log format doesn't seem to be in the list of convertible formats.
I'm looking to use two 0805's and use dashcamviewer's PIP feature, but it requires the NMEA format for the GPS data.

Here is a line from the 0805:
A,120615,205517.000,4555.8836,N,12213.9092,W,15.84,388.7M,-01.23,-05.51,-05.51;
And it should end up looking like this:
$GPRMC,022613.00,A,2729.43536,S,15259.14161,E,29.976,240.79,290614,,,A*44

Did you play around with RegistratorViewer? They mention NMEA support. http://www.registratorviewer.com/features_en.html
I'm sure http://dashcamviewer.com will add more features soon as well.

Are you trying to use it in Google Earth etc?

I've been in contact with John of DashCamViewer, and he says that the feature has been put into the job jar. So, it's probably on the horizon.
I'm in no hurry to do this, but I thought since I'm new to this dash cam stuff, that someone has probably already done it. Hoping to find the
answer here.
John has been great. He implemented a suggestion of mine already; auto scaling of the graph window.
