Well i dont meet a lot of girls / women as it is, most i meet are my family, and the one that is not family is my friends older sister, and you just do not go there with friends.

Perhaps Whiskey or Vodka. You could of course mix them!
 
I am partial to single malt, though last i was drunk ( 10 - 11 months ago ) it was on Pernod as i saw my M8 had 2 whole bottles of that in his wine cabinet, and then i got nostalgic and opened one.
 
Just notices since there is so long between my jabs i think i will get the Moderna vaccine, the PB one are supposed to only have 3 weeks in between shots, Moderna are said to be 4 weeks. ( according to the local vaccine practice )
The Moderna vaccine are also more expensive then the PB one, and as the norm here seem to be burning other peoples money, i am more than glad to be able to pitch in and help my country.

Maybe i should feel privileged, if i look at the vaccine forecast in week 22 there will just be 31.000 Moderna vaccines VS several 100.000 PB ones. and those numbers are the same 4 weeks later.
I would gladly trade that "luck" for a stab ++ at a big lotto win instead.

PS: Sweden are now requesting help in just about any form from its neighbors,,,,, still seem like their "heard immunity" approach,,,,, maybe not the best one.

They are however only getting their shot of "discarded" vaccines today 🙄 But thats of course not the company's fault.

The vaccines have no effect for the first two weeks, by which time they will be in an Indian hospital 😳

Not worth the risk for anyone who has not already had a vaccine or the virus.
 
Yeah i know, just make me even more baffled, but i guess something are better than nothing, and they probably be the refrigerator tecs in plastic bubbles,,,,, at least i would be if they sent me out there.

Instead of vaccinating everybody before the Olympics, Japan appears to be going to give away its 120 million home produced AZ vaccine jabs!

TOKYO -- The fate of roughly 120 million doses of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine remains up in the air in Japan after the government paused the rollout the very same day it gave the green light for emergency use.

"The Japanese public, with the exception of the elderly, will not be receiving any vaccines until at least the fall at the rate we are going," Gakushuin University economics professor Wataru Suzuki wrote in commentary for Nikkei. "We may not even get there by the end of the year."

"There is definitely demand among people who want to feel protected from the virus as soon as possible, or who want a vaccine passport so they can travel abroad for work, and the health ministry is going too far by taking the option away," he argued.

.... and on the flipside, the UK papers are all featuring today the latest that both the AZ and Pfizer vaccines seem to be working against the Indian variant.

I'm still baffled why the AZ vaccine is getting such bad overseas press.
 
Yeah a bit confusing.

Here i think it is the mother syndrome, government have taken upon itself far too much stuff, leaving Danes with very little they can do on their own within their own parameters.
Pretty much a norm or a law for everything here, but you are free to operate within those,,,,,,, though i dont really call that freedom.
So of course Mother Mette ( our PM ) cant let anything happen to Danes, and her at least skirting of constitutional rights here will probably not ever get mentioned aside for radicals.
At least now people can just ask to have a AZ or J&J vaccine and they will get it, to be honest i did not expect this, as it is after all Danes all on their own taking a risk ( a small one ) but never the less people are given the right to decide on their own, and some can actually handle that.
Most of course stick to the "the government know what is good for me, so i wait for my turn like a good little Dane".

At least the supreme court here have nixed all cases with the added X2 corona crime penalty, i think back in the day they made that law so people would not steal hand sanitizer or cheat on corona subsidies ASO,,,, which some people did.
But they have tried to add the X 2 penalty to just about anything even remotely corona related, like protesters protesting corona laws setting off some fireworks, or throwing paper balls at police.

I think it was Nigel who found a comparison table that showed the Pfizer wasn't that far behind for side effects.

The data, from memory, at the time, was something like 19m AZ vaccinations had 20 clot deaths whilst the Pfizer had 11m vaccinations and 9 clot deaths. The vaccine % to clot deaths was almost the same but the critics homed in on 20 v 9 totally disregarding the vaccine numbers.

There are regular clot deaths anyway but they chose to blame them all on AZ.

They may very well be true but let's have a balanced picture with all vaccines measured.

I don't know of course but I suspect the reason a lot of people are hesitant about the AZ vaccine (aside from media influencing their thinking) is that there have been mixed messages with different countries having different restrictions about which age groups should or shouldn't have the AZ vaccine, if one country says my age group shouldn't have the vaccine and my country says it's the one I should have, what should I make of that, in a world where nobody trusts the messenger anymore it can be very confusing to say the least
