Depends on the angle of the glass, but in most cars it will remove almost all the reflection from the centre of the image and remove maybe half of it from the edges.
It will also make it much easier for the video compression to do it's job so you will get more detail stored.

mine removed 95% of the reflections including the one of my smartphones screen which was the most obtrusive
