Dashcam/cabin cam with good Parking Mode/proximity recording like Tesla Sentry

We have a Tesla MY and are impressed with the Tesla's Sentry Mode (parking mode). We have a 2024 BMW iX3 arriving and don't think the BMW Drive Recorder has a good Parking mode to detect carpark accidents or keying incidents. What dashcams are recommended to replicate Tesla's Sentry Mode? I would be looking to get a 4k front cam and a 2k IR cabin cam to monitor for carpark incidents. (The iX3 EV will be a daily driver so I'm not worried about battery drain or the need to get an expensive external battery.)

The forum favourite Viofo A229 Pro looks interesting. Are there any other dashcam recommendations that can take the hot Aussie sun? Cheers.
 
Just to add, I've been recommended the BlackVue DR970X-2CH RIDESHARE model by my local auto shop but it seems expensive at A$900 (+ A$300 installation).
