I was not able to find a viewer showing film and GPS tracks of my GitUp and Akaso dashcams on Linux.
Using wine, all of them crashed?

Many thanks for any hints!

Maybe my tmov2gps might provide a starting point?

That was for MOV format dashcams like my nextbase. I don't know what formats are usesd by the dashcams that you mention.

Thank you epimorphic. I have downloaded and will soon check if it helps.

To be clear. It is not a viewer. It "just" extracts the gps information (in gpx format).

I normally usr mpv to view dashcam video, but mplayer and vlc and more also work.
The gps information is normally displayed in the video.mov2gps just allows the underlying data to be extracted for use with other programs. In my case maily for josm and mapping for Openstreetmap.

mpv is extremely impressive and is very powerful and flexible, but there is a learning curve.
But perhaps your dashcam doesn't include the gps info in the video images and you are seeking a player
that decodes the gps data stream and uses it to overlay or embed in the video images? Sounds computationally expensive.
