DDPAI Z60 Pro 3ch Set - 4K Sony Starvis 2 IMX678 - 4G Cloud - Unboxing & Testing & First Impressions

You can go to the video settings and select the option to remove the watermark, and then this problem will be solved.
Thanks. Will give that a try. Any update on improving night-time performance?

Thanks.

I gave it a try. I guess your suggestion is an all or nothing kinda of thing...no way to decrease the size of the fonts...ie the logo/date/time/speed watermark are either there or not there at all.

@linuxliu I can confirm Firmware V9.0.1.58 broke the camera, DDPAI Z60 PRO. The screen is not turning off automatically after the update. The camera is getting extremely hot because the screen is always on. How can I roll back the firmware?

You need to fix this asap. Major Bug. The camera is useless now. We need more communication channels with you guys.

We have about 7 of these cameras running on this firmware. The update didn't break it. Have you tried doing a factory reset? Which micro SD card are you using?

Maybe it didn't break your camera, but it did break mine. The camera was working normally until the end of the firmware update.

Factory resets do not roll back firmware. I don't think you're aware of what you're saying. Why would I delete all my personal data from the camera to solve a firmware issue? These are two different things.

After the last firmware update, the camera is no longer turning off the screen. You probably have a different version of the camera; I'm in Europe.

I was using version V9.0.1.58. After this version was released, I experienced connection problems with my mini2x. My device has been in use for two weeks. I want payment from them. These update processes need to be stable and supportable so we can see what's included! This is unacceptable for DDPAI. For example, Alon 70mai and Viofoyu need to list every new thing that can be done and provide files for upgrades. This kind of irresponsibility lowers the user experience and causes losses for the company. They produce very high-quality scenarios, but if the R&D system doesn't improve, DDPAI will harm itself. If DDPAI harms itself, we will market a very high-quality device, but with weak engineering...

Where did I say that a factory reset rolls back firmware? Factory reset does not wipe your footage. If you want to be sure, you can always pop out your micro SD card, then do the reset. There may simply be settings that got corrupted during the firmware update. A factory reset resets all settings to default. Then see if everything goes back to normal. Just trying to help.

I think it’s an issue for people with the 4G module. Anyhow - it’s annoying that so long there is no fix. Specially when its a wide thing. Lots of my friends have this issue in Israel.
Not cool

Hello. We understand how frustrating this is. To help address this issue, we recommend adjusting the AOD time and setting the screen brightness to a high level. This may help the screen turn off normally and reduce overheating.

Hello. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. If you encounter connection problems after a firmware update, we recommend resetting both your Z60 Pro and Mini2X.

For the Z60 Pro, go to the screen settings and select Factory Reset.
For the Mini2X, press and hold the side button until the device restarts to complete the reset.

This should help restore normal connectivity. Afterwards, we will also share information about updates on the DCT forum to keep users informed in a timely manner.

Still no fix

Hello. We are so sorry for the problem you encounter. For the auto screen-off issue, we recommend performing a factory reset. If the problem continues, please send me a private message with your email and order information, and our after-sales team will assist you with a solution.

Two devices have been reset, but the problem persists. The Bluetooth module isn't pairing with the Mini2x via the button! Why don't you understand this? I accept your devices are high-quality, I accept the sensors are good, but your R&D department is garbage. You need to fire them all and create a new team. And it shouldn't be that difficult to provide written updates on what's been done and what new developments are involved in every update, and to keep the device updated for two years, updating it every 3-6 months! You're shooting yourselves in the foot. We respond to you via email, you listen, but there's no action. It's always the same, it's exhausting. Explain this: unless your software department changes, you will lose DDPAI in the dashcam sector and will completely collapse after a certain time!

Hi, Rumen. We do regret the frustration caused and sincerely apologize that the factory reset we suggested did not resolve the issue, even after you tried it on two devices.

We understand your concerns and do not want to repeat the same troubleshooting. Could you please send me a private message with your order number and the email used for purchase, so we can escalate this case to our after-sales team?

We appreciate your detailed feedback and will share it internally.

My Z60 pro rear camera just turned dark, even it is daytime. What could be the reason?
Hi! The problem you mention might be related to the mounting location and external lighting conditions. We recommend adjusting the installation position or angle.

Hello,
Can we talk to the driver through the DDPAI mobile app?

This feature is already available in other brands and I would love to have it on Z60 Pro as well.
Yes, our updated firmware V9.0.1.58 of Z60 Pro supports this feature.
