Died after May 12 2015 update

I just installed the May 12 2015 update. Got a successful update message on the screen.
Powered it back up and the screen froze and the chime turned into more of a chiming buzz like it was stuck in a loop.
I held the up button down and it powered off.
Now the unit won't power on at all.

Tried plugging it into the USB direct, into the bracket in the car, holding the up button down. Nothing.

Anyone come across this?
