Difference between coring and denoise

Someone could explain me the difference between these two parameters, cause both are used to get more sharpness but I trying to understand eventually difference between them...

denoise

#looks like the values are between 0-16383 (0x0000-0x3FFF)
#If you want to set noise reduction value to 2048 just remove the hash key from the row below and for all the resolutions you will have sharpness as craze

and

coring

#disable sharpening. coring should contain only 256x10
