Difference with full HD and 2304×1296

I have seen the G6000 A7 and another dash cam that has 2304×1296. Is the quality of these cams far better during the day compared to the more expensive full Hd dash cams? For example the Blackvue 500.

I have a Mini 0803 which supports both 1080p and 1296p, I couldn't tell the difference so I use 1080p for the smaller video file sizes.
