Display screen switches off after a few minutes of driving (VIOFO A129 Pro Duo Dashcam)

Hi all this may have been dealt with within the forum. So I may just need pointing to the right direction for the right information. I hardwired the above dash cam and all works well. However I noticed the the display turns off after a few minutes of driving but the recording LED light remains on.

1. Does this mean it is still recording the journey?
2. Is there an option to keep the display on permanently when you're driving?

Is it worth buying the polarising lens?

1. Yes, everything is working correctly.
2. No, using video displays while driving is arguably illegal, it should turn off to avoid distraction.
3. Effectiveness of polarising filters depends on the vehicle, but in most cases, yes it is worth it, especially with the A129 Pro which can give great image quality when there aren't too many reflections.
