Does battery go flat

Hi,

I've had a Nextbase front and rear cam fitted. It's been hard wired, just wondering, will my car battery be ok? Friend at work had a dashcam and her battery kept going flat,

Wait for another reply but I'm sure I've seen posted that the kit will power down when it detects the car battery drops below a certain voltage.

If wired using the Nextbase power supply, or a power supply with low voltage cut-off, then the car battery shouldn't go flat. As Kremmen says, the kit should kill the power to the dashcam/s once the car battery drops below a preset voltage.

Thank you both, that’s what I’d hoped. Amazing. My friends husband wired hers in, he obviously did it wrong!
