Does Nextbase hardwire kit have a battery cut off?

I have a nextbase 322gw with the nextbase series 2 hardwire kit, it says in the app that you can connect the HWK to an always on fuse and the dash cam will enter standby after 5 minutes, is this safe for my cars battery and the dash cam? will it damage/drain my battery?
 
the low voltage cutoff is at 11v, a vehicle battery at 12v is considered to be 50% charged, make of that what you will
