DR900X Plus lights still on when running battery charger?

So I installed a battery charger on my summer toy today and it's in charging mode.

I noticed that the front and rear lights on my DR900X Plus are still on but it isn't connected to the cloud according to my upstairs computer.

Anyone else have that? Is that because the battery in the vehicle is charging so the camera things it's still working? I would have thought this would have turned it off after an hour.

Firmware 1.012 - It's too late at night to start this car up in the garage lol

For now I've just unplugged the power wire from the camera body since the car is in my garage and blocked by other vehicles.
