Driver changes his mind in the middle of a 4-way stop

i've done that when i was bring someone somewhere and they were navigating. "no wait, don't turn here, turn at the NEXT intersection!" at least they were stopped when they did it and didn't cause a wreck. much better than taking an exit from the freeway at the last second from the far left lane...
